Fertilizer Spreading Drones for Granular Applications
Choose a granular spreading package by material, target rate and refill plan. Compare the spreader as a system rather than selecting an aircraft only by hopper volume.
Compare the task assembly and support package
Spreading assembly
Identify the hopper revision and granular material for supplier review.
Battery and charger
Confirm compatible component references and the required power input.
Current configuration
Request an itemized quotation; brochure illustrations do not define the complete offer.
Match the material to the spreader
Send the fertilizer product information, particle-size range, bulk density and photographs of the material. If you do not have these measurements, identify the product and ask what information the supplier needs. A material that flows through one spreading assembly may behave differently in another. Compatibility should be confirmed for the installed system before purchase.
Separate hopper volume from useful load
Volume and mass are different purchasing specifications. Request both the hopper volume and the permitted material load for the proposed aircraft configuration. Ask whether the figure includes the spreading assembly and how it relates to the aircraft operating limit. Comparing two packages by litres alone can hide a different usable load or refill requirement.
Request a calibration and verification method
Target rate, discharge setting, travel speed and working width belong in the same setup review. Ask for the supplier's material-specific calibration procedure and an appropriate method of checking distribution. A maximum discharge figure is not proof of even application across your field. Establish the acceptance conditions before comparing claimed output.
Plan refilling and the rest of the package
Discuss bag handling, access to the loading location, available charging power and the number of working shifts. Request the spreader, batteries, charger, controller and replacement components as separate items in the offer. If you also need liquid spraying, confirm which conversion components are included and which require a separate purchase.
Compare the material and the equipment together
| Requirement | What to send or request | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Material identity | Product, particle size and bulk density | Confirms compatibility requirements |
| Required rate | Target mass per hectare and total area | Defines the spreading task |
| Installed system | Hopper, metering components and permitted load | Clarifies what is actually supplied |
| Verification | Calibration instructions and distribution check | Sets a measurable acceptance method |
Purchasing questions
Is a spraying tank also a fertilizer spreader?
No. Liquid spraying and granular spreading use different task equipment. Ask which spreading assembly is included in the quoted aircraft package and whether conversion equipment is supplied.
Can the same package spread seed?
Seed compatibility is a separate question. Provide the seed size, condition and required rate so the supplier can review the material and metering system. Fertilizer capability alone does not confirm seed suitability.
Review a granular spreading package
Send your material product, particle information, target rate, field area, destination and quantity. We will use your brief to request the relevant supplier configuration and quotation scope.
Compare granular application packages
Request the spreading assembly separately and identify the seed or fertilizer material. Hopper volume does not establish the permitted material weight.
HD580
Supplied brochure reference: 70L spray tank and 100L spreading hopper. Review the current revision, included task assemblies and supporting equipment for your enquiry.
FP800
Manual reference: 75L rated / 80L maximum spray capacity. Optional 120L spreading hopper with an 80kg maximum tank load. Check the exact ordered configuration.
HD580 and FP800: AI-enhanced application illustrations based on product references. Capacities are document references; neither image nor tank size establishes verified field productivity.

Compare agricultural models
Review FP800, HD580, HD540S and HD525 document references and the questions needed for a current configuration.
Plan the working scenario
Include field blocks, transport, refill and charging access in your equipment brief.
Identify batteries and chargers
Match component references to the exact installed aircraft revision.
Application images are AI-enhanced illustrations based on supplied product references, not customer-project photographs or proof of field performance. Verify hardware and configuration with the original references and current quotation.
Fertilizer spreading drone equipment: compare volume and material load
A hopper specification in litres describes volume; it is not the same as a permitted fertilizer load in kilograms. Identify the granular material, its available specification and the spreading task before asking for a configuration. A spray-equipped aircraft does not automatically include a spreader. Request the hopper, delivery assembly and any conversion components as identifiable items in the offer.
Material review
Material name, granule information and intended task. Ask which material characteristics the proposed assembly supports.
Capacity review
Hopper volume and permitted working load stated separately for the exact assembly and aircraft configuration.
Maintenance review
Replacement components, cleaning instructions and the available assembly documentation.
